Unfortunately, Jerry Lawler will NOT appear for 2CW August 19th in Binghamton, NY. While Mr. Lawler was indeed booked for 2CW, WWE has pulled him from the show in order to meet obligations to WWE. We are currently looking for a suitable replacement. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. We look forward to working with Jerry in the future. Leave your ideas for replacement here .....

I would just like to throw out some names. It is more like people I would like to see in 2cw as a whole. But Binghamton is really the only shows I can make time to go to so I'll actually try to put some thought into these. I will seperate the list into bigger names (ex-WWE, ECW,TNA, ect.) and just other indy guys that our popular enough to bring in a few fans in the right match. I will try not to use wrestlers that have been used before in Binghamton.

Here is the list
Big Names:
-Rhino:He has managed to stay relatively relative for a very long time. He had matches with NJPW when they did their East Coast tour and is wrestling for ROH as well. Rhino is unlike most of the bigger names 2CW has brought in just because he is still in good shape and can still wrestle. And 2cw does love themselves those ECW guys
-Jerry Lynn: I know he has been in 2CW before but he is still a solid wrestler with name value.
-Sid Vicious: He has never been the best wrestler but he is good shape I have heard. He is a former WWF champion and has charisma. He is still taking bookings and would be a big enough name to bring in fans.
-Tommy Dreamer: What else is there to say? He is a legend and would be fun to see in Binghamton
- World's Greatest Tag Team: One of the best teams in wrestling are also one of the most popular. 2CW fans have been wanting them for a while now and for good reason. Let it happen. If not in Binghamton then soon.

Indy Stars:
-El Generico: I know he was brought in for the tag title tournament a couple years ago but he has been on a roll as of late and now would be the perfect time to bring him in.
-Briscoe Brothers:They are one of the greatest tag teams in the world and seems like they have wrestled everywhere...except for 2cw that is. I think they could put on a great match with the any of the great tag teams in 2CW.
-Ricochet: He has looked like a star. DGUSA has made him almost an overnight success story. Why not let him bring his crazy acrobatics to 2cw? For some reason I believe he could have a really fun match with Cheech.
-Mike Quackenbush: I might be in the minority but I think Quack is one of the greatest in the world at what he does. I think he would work perfectly with any former or current CHIKARA member. I also think he could have a fun match with Loca Vida. Granted he won't bring in many fans at all.

I know I have just mentioned a list of wrestlers I would want to see and who I think would do well in Binghamton but thats not the only way 2cw can bring in fans. To be honest I don't think there is many people that could bring in the amount of people Jerry Lawler could bring in. Binghamton would be the perfect night to try something different. They could do a second Grand Prix tournament but this time hopefully with better wrestlers. They could us the same theme of having tournament champions but now their would be a lot better selection of wrestlers to choose from: El Generico, Sami Callahan, Tommaso Ciampa, AR Fox, Adam Cole, and probably some other good ones too. They could do a different type of gimmick event as well. I'll let them figure something ouy because I am just a fan who got bored.

Sid recently worked a PWS ipvv and the match was literally 5 seconds long. Odds are he wouldn't provide the necessary entertainment that the money would be spent for.

Tommy Dreamer is the perfect choice, in my opinion.

I think Austin Aries would be a good choice. I could see him and Isys Ephex really putting on a good show.

Yeah, I was just throwing out some names. Austin Aries would be another cool name to bring in though I don't exactly know where he is with his career. He seems to want to go big or go home at this point. Clearly I don't think he is big enough to be a one man attraction. But him and some of the other big Indy names out there and 2cw could put on a great show. That includes Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards though so they really don't need to bring in too many new wrestlers with them already on the roster.
