2CW would like to thank the 784 Fans in attendance last night at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena. 2CW is eternally grateful to everyone who showed up last night and supported the 2CW product. From everyone involved in 2CW you'll never know how much it means when the great fans show up in droves to support this product. THANK YOU! |

All that press, the legendary Jake Roberts, and having the main-event surprise from SummerSlam on the card... and you draw the same number that Hacksaw Duggan got you a year ago by himself. I'd be pleased with the crowd from a pure financial standpoint, but there has been no growth in this town whatsoever. You've presented good shows... very professional compared to your average indy group. Not sure what it's gonna take to really take the next step with this. CF |

I thought it was a decent crowd considering there was a big concert going on near by. Some people might have had tickets for that or just had to make a choice of which event they wanted to attend. |

For not growing, there was twice the amount of fans as last show. Same amount of fans for Hacksaw. Now we are in a recession and concert playing same weekend right before back to school. 700 plus. Do you get that many in Utica and Binghamton? As in not coming to Watertown, if you can't afford the gas money or have no friends to car pool we can start a collection. We'll do 50/50 in the parking lot for you. |

That voice is still yelling at me on the home page... Congratulations to 2CW, no promotion deserves this type of success more than you do. Anytime you can bring in more than 200 people for an indie show (no matter what name you bring) it's a great thing. So, drawing 700+ is phenomenal. The great thing about 2CW is that the product is so over the top terrific that those that only came to see Jake get into the other matches because the guys/girls work so hard. I was lucky enough to get to this one and I had a blast. If 700+ is not enough, what is enough? Is 1,000 enough? Maybe 1,500? The bar will keep being moved by the naysayers so it doesn't matter. Remember, only about 500 showed up for the New Age Outlaws and they were still on national tv every week. ECW and ROH have done shows with a fraction of the crowd. Hell, when ECW came to the fairgrounds they drew less than 500. 2CW has come a long way. Someone asked "what will it take to get to the next level?". Well, can we define a "next level" in real terms? I don't know if we can. Sure, 2CW could grease the palms of industry insiders in order to get press within the industry. That seems to be the only way your name gets out there these days. I sincerely believe that the product is so damn good these folks will have to take notice because they will hear so much about it they will have to find out for themselves. It may never happen though. If 2CW gets too much success there are people that will tear it down anyway. I say keep doing what you are doing and we will keep enjoying it. Just stop the yelling and screaming commercials. Do it for my sake, please. |

Stop running in Watertown? Funny, reading the attendaces of otheer shows, Watertown has some of the higher draws. |

I said it before.. Jake Roberts is not a draw. He didn't draw anything for the Syracuse show. The guy is a joke nowadays who uses his fake teeth for offense. He doesn't eve have actual ring gear anymore. Why he has had two bookings for 2CW is just mind boggling. 700+ is still a good number. Watertown is 2CW's highest drawing town for sure. Who knows what 2CW made off merchandize, but i would have to think a good amount considering the Danielson shirt looked awesome. 2CW should start going after some other recgonizable names that aren't washed up to be on their shows. I would try to think of a list, but i don't have time. They have one of the best all around rosters on the indys that i know of. So happy that Brodie Lee is the champion. Make that guy a fucking t-shirt! |

You're an idiot. Jake Roberts drew more people to the Pastime. I go to every show there, and more people were there for Jake. I would say one of the highest draw shows ever there was with Jake on the Show. And he was the guy who drew Watertown. Based on reaction, his line for pictures, and some people leaving after his match, ALOT of people were there to see Jake. In June with Spike and Kong, 2CW did like 300ish, in August with Jake Roberts and Bryan Danielson they did close to 800. The fact is NAMES like Jake Roberts DRAW no matter what you think. And then you say you don't have time to think of a list, but you are posting on a message board. GOOF. Well, atleast after all your bitching about Jason Axe you can masturbate to the fact that Brodie Lee won the belt. Because god forbid Axe kept it you would be bitching about it all fucking day. |
