2CW's Original Hat Guy Posts: 83 Group: Members Member #16 Joined: Dec 1, 2009	To celebrate The Best In The World Bryan Danielson's return to 2CW, we are asking fans to wear ties for his match at Live And Let Die. If you've got some old ties laying around you don't wear anymore, or if you don't have any and need one (and for those who did not know beforehand), stop on by and pick up or drop off your ties to wear and show support for Bryan Danielson's return to 2CW. You gotta think that every where that he has gone since being released all he has heard about is that damn tie thing. I'm pretty sure the crowd in CHIKARA has already done this deal too. I'm not trying to be a stick up the ass, just think that 2CW would just try not to be so predictable or something.

Posts: 51 Group: Members Member #83 Joined: Jul 14, 2010	Ive heard about this and honestly I think it would be funny, sure it may have been done at other shows but this is 2CW with a different group of fans. I'm sure he will play along with it, as he is probably expecting it wherever he wrestles.

I put "my idea" in quotes because no, it's not completely original; I had seen videos of a couple shows where some fans had worn ties in support of Bryan Danielson. My idea was that 2CW could do one better and actually try to organize something and have as many people as we can get to wear ties, not just a small portion of the audience. In the shows I had seen, he seemed honesty appreciative of the show of support. So, OK, maybe he was just cutting a promo and really hates it, and I got sold. I can't say he didn't go backstage and say "I wish people would just forget about this effing tie thing, it's ridiculous", but my thought is that's not how it went down. Hey, I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again, but I thought it was worth a shot. I think it would be awesome if Bryan steps out into the ring for his match and there's 300 people wearing ties chanting "welcome back", but that's my thought, you're all welcome to your own. For anyone who does want to participate, we'll be tailgating before the show and likely during intermission (looks like we're back to having them at every show again). If you have extra ties to donate for the cause, bring some down so others can participate. If you don't have one, stop by and see us and we'll give you one (while supplies last, hence the idea of posting it here and on the Fancast to get more participation) For those that don't know who we are, just keep an eye out for the Viking Helmet near a blue SUV Love it, hate it, don't care; I do hope to see everyone at Live And Let Die, August 22nd Fairgrounds Arena, Watertown... looks to be an incredible show. Come on out and see Bryan Danielson's return to 2CW and show your support however you want. See you at the show!
