Tonight, Jay Freddie will make his National Television Debut on HDNET at 8pm EST. He will be taking on "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards.

I wouldn't really hype this too much. ROH isn't really that impressive anymore and pushing that your top guy is in an entry-level spot with them doesn't help 2CW one bit.

2CW runs just as many shows as ROH, no? And draws the same level of crowd IMO. Sure, ROH has TV but it's not seen by that many households. They had PPVs air in Canada that I read were bought by like 2 PEOPLE!!! ROFLMAO.

You have a nice little thing going here, 2CW. There is no reason to hype ROH like it's a huge deal above and beyond what you are already doing with him.

Watching guys in ROH defeat him every week won't help make him a bigger star.

im pretty sure 2CW never hyped roh at all in that little write up there. I feel rather confident in making this statement because they never said ROH once. J Freddie has been a pro for about 2 years and he is already on national tv. That's a pretty big deal and 2CW and everyone in it is damn proud of him because he's busted his fucking ass and deserves such an opportunity to be noticed. So to quote the great Ron White: Next time you have a thought. Let it go

Explain to me how ROH runs the same ammount of shows as 2CW yet they have tv which means they have to run a good two or three just to get in a month of t.v tapings. I won't argue that ROH has fallen quite a bit but it's still a big deal to be on national t.v whether he's going to win or not he's on t.v and it goes to show what a lot of hard work will do for anyone and it has surely paid off for him.

They didn't even name the company he worked for. So, i don't think they are hyping up the company as anything bigger than 2CW.

ROH to me is a name a lot of people know and while HD Net isn't watchable for everyone they still have a decent following. ROH is the 3rd biggest wrestling company asides from WWE and TNA, I don't see anything wrong with 2CW hyping this. It could also get some people more interested in the 2CW product

Just watched the match on the youtube link. If ANYONE thinks that made one of 2CW's top dogs look good, please feel free to explain that to me.

I saw a 2CW headliner ger punked in a few minutes in a "open challenge" which is wrestlespeak for "bring in a jobber, we'll give him a few spots, and get our guy over to forward the real program against a bigger star".

I am THRILLED for J Freddie, the guy busts his ass and has become a great worker. So props to him on a personal level for a televised tryout. But PLEASE do not tell me that that match helped 2CW one bit. Because I just don't see it.

And now, feeding him to Bryan in Watertown? What is the purpose of having him do these jobs?

He gets a pin against Richards and this is the follow up?

I truly hope that 2CW proves me wrong here. SOMEHOW Freddie gets a much-needed win over a superstar in his hometown. If he jobs to BD I have lost all faith in the booking. Build up Freddie and then fizzle out. Vida Loca #2.

2Cw needs to keep their top guys in good positions. Flame on, I am used to it, but this is not using good business sense.

It would be like hyping J Freddie to appear on Sunday Night heat and get beat by Billy Gunn.
