First Ienjoyed the show alot but there was def some stuff i was let down by........ first i know this area gets rowdy but the throwing of the beer and hitting brandon the ring annoucer was simply uncalled for everyone should have kicked the shit outta that guy weather it was at olsen or not....... Second Vin's match was very good and didnt deserve the dont come back chants and also WHY SUPERBEAST!!!!!! There are sooo many other talents in the NY area that are better than him and you could have had a better partner for dewey(PD Order) that was the biggest let down because ive gone to every promotion in NY weather its in Buffalo Rochester Syracuse ETC ETC and the one show i will never ever go back to is NEW simply because their guys dont hold a candle to ANY of the guys 2CW could have got, from Pepper Parks Gabe Saint Evan McCloud Dizzy Hellcat Mastif ny guy who has steped foot in 2CW i would have even settled for Vince Beach or even the students taking on the killer steves as a way to say they want their spot. All i have to say 2CW i was let down by that..... idk if anyone agrees with me let me know how you feel..... |

I've avoided the boards up to now, (and well my website too) but I felt compelled to respond to this. I'm sorry, but if you want people to respond to something it should have at least a little bit of punctuation. I know its nitpicking but, really. As far as being let down, I was the total opposite. You won't find a more critical person than me and this show was fantastic. The first half was good, and the second half was off the charts. Its sad to say, but the fact three quarters of the fans were hammered helped the atmosphere. Yeah a few fans went too far, but I would rather have to throw out a couple assholes and have the rest of the crowd be rowdy and happy then have a crowd sit on their hands and have silence. Vin got the don't come back chant because not all of us watch chikara and we rode him the whole match. He wont get a pass with some of the diehards just because he works for a popular company. The match was good, but I definitely wasn't blown away. Maybe he'll get another chance and we'll see how it goes. Until then, working for Chikara won't protect you from the a-holes in the front row. Lastly, if you thought the show was disappointing because of Superbeast, then you probably shouldn't come to anymore shows. With nine matches on the show including the awesome Andy Kaufman bit with Jimmy Olsen, if one match makes a show a disappointment, then stay home. I'm sorry for coming off negative, but this show was a LOT of fun. I love the Steves, but it was advertised to be a match against J.D. Love and a mystery opponent. What did you expect from this match. You got a surprise and even if Superbeast sucks, and I thought he did alright, then just his size and appearance alone lent itself to the fans having fun. Isn't that the point. I'm also getting tired of people asking why these Upstate guys aren't getting booked. Its not like the 2CW management doesn't know who these guys are. If they want them in, they'll bring them in. Complaining about it won't make it happen. That's it. That's all I got. The show was awesome and if you didn't go, you missed a great show. If you went and couldn't have a good time with what 2CW produced then its time to go to the ECPW friends and family shows. I'm sure you won't be disappointed there. I hope that Vin Gerard is brought back and that 2CW announces it ahead of time. That way his archenemy the Greengo can get a ticket and show up.

Im sorry if it came off as I was disapointed with the show because thats not the case, the show was great but I was a little let down with the fact that i was very intrested to see who was going to be JD's partner and then in turn there was a swerve which was good but not one of the people i would have picked to see in 2CW. Again there are so many othere people i would have seen for me a die HARD wrestling fan and enjoy every 2CW show i would have liked to see the Steve's be surpried by some better. Yes his size was big and game people a reason to be entertained, BUT i thought we prided ourselves on the wrestling not the entertainment. Yes entertainment is a big thing with wrestling but agiain I personally would have liked to see Law and Order vs the Steves instead of having Dewey team with someone else or even just dewey with jd would have made my night. Again im not complaining im just pointing things out that I just didnt like i thought that is what this board is for to hear us out??? Guess I was wrong... Also your mention to Upstate guys not being booked i'm saying why go with a lesser talent when there are tons of other guys that would be better from Upstate or other peomotions??? Personally I would rather bring in the devil i know than the devil i dont, expecially when we as face like the guys who casn work their asses off or even the guys who have been here before like the hellcats the mcclouds the kevin graces to name a few they can hang with anyone and have the entertainment value that i enjoy. But like i said before I thought his board was for opinions and such but again i guess not..... thats why i never posted on here up until recently i guess ill just come to shows and pay my money enjoy what i like and go get popcorn when a shitty guy from NEW shows up again, and not post on the board when im unhappy with that quality of a guy being brought in when there are better guys out there im just sayin.... |

You know I don't understand why people always think they're not allowed to post their opinions. There is nothing wrong with stating what you feel but just know that there will be people that disagree with you and when they disagree with you don't take it personally. Explain yourself and bring up a valid argument and I'm sure you won't have an issue. You're stating your opinions which is fine and Jonny M is doing the same thing. I thought the show was fantastic from start to finish. I didn't mind Superbeast, didn't know who he was, but still I thought it worked. Also the issue with the drunk fans was out of control. It sucks that crap like that always seems to go down in Binghamton but like Jonny said it did help the atmosphere a bit. |

Don't worry, Honestly if us in the front row either boo the crap out of you or tell you "Don't come back" its usually a good sign. Vince Beach got the Don't come back chant because he sucked, but later on that night. Dash went to a high liter party and did his brown nose like Vince Beach. The front row at 2cw, and Im not just saying this cuz I sit there, but it's one of the most loyal groups of people I know, we all have a great time and support the best organization NY has to offer, We dont support throwing shit into the ring like a drunk retard. That shit can be saved for somewhere else. I have 2 kids now, and really dont get out so these 2cw shows are away for me to get away now. Anyways, this was only the second time I have seen Superbeast, and only the first time I have seen him in person. I must say though, the crowd was pretty hot for it regardless. He did his job at entertaining us am I wrong? Of course there are plenty of better guys to put out there, but hey IMO it worked. Superbeast is welcome to come back in my opinion. Ill boo the crap out of him again. I like having a different variety of guys to watch instead of the same ole ripped abs, superplex and arm bar guys. Generic. Superbeast....not generic. Last thing, Im with Johnny on this one. Just because some guy wrestles for a popular promotion somewhere else. Does not mean that the guys gonna get over here. 2cw is a tough crowd, you have to do something funny,unique and downright awesome to get over with me. Coming in and fighting Isys in one of the worse matches Ive seen him in is NOT going to get you over. But that's just me. Damn I love the 2cw family. |

I thought from top to bottom the show was another excellent one in a long line of them from 2CW. 2CW is so unlike any other indy wrestling promotion out there and that's what makes it so much fun to be at. The crowds can be a little out of control at times but again, that just adds to the experience. I'd rather work in front of a crowd that's passionate about their product then one that sits on their hands and adds nothing to the electricity of the show. |

I liked the show. The crowd was great, rowdy but we didn't witness the Binghamton Riot Part II so that was a good thing. I was entertained the whole night. Not all the matches were great but none were boring. I had never seen Superbeast but I was always interested to see what he looks like. Now that I have I don't think there is don't really ever need to see him again. Vin should be back IMO. Sometimes it seems like younger wrestlers that go to 2cw for the first time have a hard time adjusting to the crowd. Cause I remember that this guy Malice who these people from Conn. thought was awesome botched moves for 75% of the match with this other fella that I believe was in the Super 8 tournament with Loca Vida. I don't think they were bad like I don't think Gerard is bad but Binghamton is a smaller crowd that feels much bigger. |

Personally, I think the Dewey/Superbeast pairing has a lot of potential. And to be honest, there are times Superbeast in action can be fun to watch. He was involved in quite the entertaining brawl at Empire State Wrestling last month. |
